the hour has come

So they met. They didn't vote...they came to a consensus. They are sending Dan on to the Vestry. YEA! The Chair said that while Dan's not perfect his good qualities outweigh his bad. They feel he is called to the priesthood and the Vestry will get their report on Feb. 21st. We don't know what the report actually says right now. I'm sure we'll find out later. They will not be voting at this vestry meeting. They probably won't be voting, but will be given the report only and ask to consider it until the next meeting on March 21st (James' Birthday). This way they have time to read the report, discuss anything they are concerned or has questions about with Dan and of course to pray about it. Plus this meeting is a biggy. Its only the second meeting with new elected members and they are discussing reconciliation with the Dio financially (issue has been taken since last General Convention.) So one more step down, a whole bunch more to go. Later..
