First Place!!!

Last Thursday my dogs had a graduation from their classes. Jack, my hound dog, did very bad. His brain did not show up with him to class. Mani on the other hand was very on. We have 12 people in our class. Many of them have taken the class before and have their CGC (Canine Good Citizen) Certificate. Anyway we went near the end of the group. Mani did ok, but not great. I was happy with her performance but didn't think she did well comparable to what other people usually do. (I didn't watch anyone else. I went outside to practice.) So they rank you and give out ribbons for 1-4th places. They called 1st place number 107 (my number). I stood there thinking "I thought that was my number, what is my number then." Then they called "Lab mix" and I thought "hum...thats strange...there aren't any other mixes in class but Mani...does that mean we got first?...I guess so." I started to walk forward. I had gotten first. I completely didn't believe it!!!! I'm still very excited about it. Hopefully after one more class I'll be able to do agility with her.
In other news, our Christmas tree is in the stand in the living room...only thing is we have nothing on it at all. We really need to decorate it. Its been standing there for a week. We'll eventually get to it. Hopefully we'll have some time to enjoy it left before Christmas.
