Stage I - Complete

Dan has finished his meetings with Bob. He actually finished a couple weeks ago but I haven't gotten around to posting it. Bob has sent a letter, Dan's spiritual autobiography and a recent picture to the Bishop. So now the Bishop is aware of Dan as an aspirant.

Bob asked Ann, a parishioner, to chair Dan's parish committee. She agreed and is currently getting a committee. Last night told Dan she thinks that she has 5-6 people and that they can start meeting soon. Some people are still praying about it but she is fairly certain that the will say yes. As a former Senior warden on the vestry she's pretty good at getting people to part with their time. I know Dan is anxious for this "Stage II" to start. Slowly more and more people are finding out about Dan being an aspirant. As far as we can tell most people find out be good old fashion eaves dropping! Soon I'm sure Dan's youth are going to find out and be asking him about it. I hope they take it well.

In other news, Dan and I got flights to be in Texas for Christmas. Unfortunately we have to fly on Christmas Day but we'll get to stay through Friday. Its going to be a lot of work to fly for Christmas, but completely worth it. We're both exctied about it.
