New Job!!!

Hey y'all! After looking for a better job for months, I finally got one yesterday. I will be working at Costal AHEC (Costal Area Health Education Center) ob/gyn department as an Adminstrative Associate. It is a residency program from ob/gyns. It is partnered with New Hanover Regional Hospital. I will start November 21st. I gave my notice last night to my boss. He was rather shocked, but very understanding. I'm excited about the new position. They promise that no day is like the one before it and that you have to think to do the job. I've very excited about this since right now I feel like my brains are leaking out of my ear. They pay better, offer better benefits, better hours, and they're closer. I go Tuesday for paperwork, drug screening, and TB test. I'm excited about the possibilities with this new opportunity, but I'm also a little sad to leave the vet. Stocking up with supplies for my pups before I go for sure though.

We are still waiting for Dan's committee to be formed. Its definitely an exercise in patience at this point. Its been probably 6 weeks without any progress. The chair of the committee says she's almost there. We worry some because this part has to be finished in time to meet with the Bishop before July 1st and in June is the general convention. During convention the Bishop is likely be quite busy so we wanted to be done before then. But it is all out of our hands so we wait... and wait...and wait.
