Update!
So its been a long, long time since I've made any entries. My life has been pretty nuts since August. Shortly after we moved here my first trimester "morning sickness" kicked in with avengence. I spent 6 weeks pretty much in bed or the bathroom. It totally sucked, but mid-September and the 2nd trimester finally came. I slowly got back on my feet and was greeted by a pile of stuff to do.
October was an extremely busy month with Dan running a Jr. High lock-in, a Sr. High Fairlee Retreat, and us moving to another apartment. All in consecutive weekends. We didn't know I was pregnant when we decided to move to our last apartment. So we started looking for a bigger place and are now in a 2brd apartment about 1 mile from church. Dan isn't sure how I managed to get us to move twice while pregnant! It was the easiest moving day I've ever had!!! =)
Now its November and I don't know where the fall went. My parents are coming again this weekend. It will be the 4th time for me to see them since August. Why are they coming? Well as Dan puts it my father isn't good with temptation. He isn't coming to see me you see. He is coming to visit his new boat. His boat is at an electronic installation shop in Cambridge, MD getting the latest radar, GPS, electronic maps, laptop station, etc. He wants to visit his boat and make sure everything is being done well. I just happen to live in the area. My mom is coming with him and is less motivated by just the boat. Oh yeah, should tell you he bought a 40' Pacific Seacraft 2004 last month. She's a beautiful sailboat. He is going to rename her Sodalis and is selling Sodalis the 35' Pearson 1976 that he got from his parents. He also got a 17' Searay motor boat. So next summer when the water is warm again we can waterski in Fairlee Creek.
The really silly thing is that they will be back the week before Thanksgiving again. All 8 of my immediate family members are going to be up for Thanksgiving. Some are coming for 10 days others for 3 days, regardless it will be great to see everyone. I'm selfishly very excited to see Amanda this year. She is taking massage courses and a 1/3 of her course is prenatal massage. I HOPE SHE HAS A LOT OF HOMEWORK!!! She asked me if she can practice on me! HELL YES! Things are little messed up when I'm allowing her the privilege of practicing on me, rather than me begging for a massage. But you won't catch me complaining.
Well time for this housewife to make her husband dinner. Just a reminder for any that care the Presiding Bishop-elect is getting installed this weekend at the national cathedral. There is going to be a live feed on the web. I think at least watching the procession will be interesting. You don't get more pomp and high church than this. Any one got a guess how many songs its going to take just to get the procession all up the aisle. I'll try and be more regular about this, especially as my pregnancy continues. But for now dinner.
